Merry Christmas 2017

Unfortunately you won't be finding the picture perfect christmas morning photo here today.  Little Man, Baby E, and I spent the holiday weekend with a nasty stomach bug which meant that it was nothing short of a Christmas miracle that we were all healthy today.  My home was covered in wrapping paper, cardboard, and a sky high pile of laundry.  Nonetheless, we had a great Christmas morning together!

However, we were able to cram in some fun activities before illness set in.  Our week comprised of a visit to the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens which the kids loved.  They decorate the outdoor garden with thousands of lights.  Baby E of course wanted a photo with the pink tree.

I also had the opportunity to visit the White House with all of its Christmas decorations.  It was an experience I won't forget!  The most impressive part was the gingerbread White House!
